About the Position

Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

Join GFT Poland as a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to drive the design, evolution, and operation of strategic cloud platform solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure platform solutions
Define cloud architecture standards and best practices
Design, deploy and maintain Kubernetes platforms using AKS
Manage and secure APIs through Azure API Management
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Lead production releases and release management activities
Govern and support multiple environments across the delivery lifecycle
Investigate production incidents and perform root cause analysis
Support critical production systems and platform services
Drive platform governance and operational excellence initiatives
Implement and support security controls and platform standards
Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams

Requirements

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Expert knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture
Experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions
Strong experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
Experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery solutions
Experience in platform architecture and platform engineering
Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and automation
Experience managing production deployments and release processes
Experience supporting complex production environments
Experience performing incident management and root cause analysis
Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Experience implementing cloud governance and security standards
Excellent English communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Ping Identity or PingFederate
Experience in banking or financial services
Experience working in highly regulated environments
Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives
Experience working in distributed international teams
Knowledge of multi-environment deployment processes
