About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure services to join our team in Bratislava, Slovakia. This role involves designing and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
Please note that this position requires working from the office in Bratislava 2–3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based solutions that leverage Microsoft Azure services
- Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications through platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with modern automation tools
- Develop scripts and automation workflows that use suitable programming or scripting languages
- Oversee system health, proactively monitor performance, and resolve technical issues with specialized monitoring solutions
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience with Azure services, including AKS, API Management, Virtual Machines, cloud databases, networking, VPNs, serverless computing, and identity/access management
- Proficient understanding of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle, as well as CI/CD methodologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Strong scripting and programming skills for automation tasks (e.g., Bash, Python, Go, PowerShell, Java,.NET, or comparable languages)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
