Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to enhance and maintain our deployment pipelines and automation processes. You will play a key role in managing builds, deployments, and release coordination across multiple environments. In this role, you will work closely with various teams to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery. Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for build and release automation
• Manage source control using Git and GitHub to ensure code integrity
• Coordinate deployment releases to minimize downtime across various environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate successful application and service deployments
• Implement proactive strategies to reduce build and release failures
• Monitor and enhance DevOps processes by adopting new tools and methodologies
• Ensure scalability and reliability of deployment pipelines following best practices
• Support troubleshooting and resolve issues related to DevOps processes and environments

Requirements

• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD and build automation for at least 3 years
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
• Background in managing source control systems with Git and GitHub
• Capability to coordinate release deployments across multiple environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to minimizing failures
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams
• English language proficiency at a professional working level

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Azure Metrics Advisor
• Knowledge of Bicep for infrastructure as code
• Experience with deployment strategies and tools
