About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our Cyber Security (PSO) team in München, Germany. This is a permanent, full-time position for an experienced professional.
Your Tasks
- Develop backend systems and microservices using Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Integrate relational and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of your services in the cloud, even during high-load processes.
- Maintain quality through unit and integration tests as well as code reviews.
- Integrate AI-based components such as LLMs, RAG, and AI agents into existing and new backend systems.
- Work agilely in the team, from sprint planning to retrospectives, and support with architectural components and technical issues.
Your Profile
- Fluent German language skills required for customer communication.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices, databases (relational and NoSQL).
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud infrastructures and scalable systems.
- Curiosity about AI technologies and willingness to learn about LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI agents.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% of the time (usually to Berlin).
- Team player with a hands-on mentality.
