About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Golang to enhance and expand our data processing backend and help organizations protect their sensitive data. You will work in a small, highly skilled team and have a backend codebase to build upon. You will help us develop new features, continuously improve scalability and performance, and prepare the release of open-source core functionality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance our data processing backend
- Collaborate with the team to improve scalability and performance
- Prepare open-source core functionality for release
- Write efficient, secure, and readable code
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
Requirements
- Proficiency in Golang and its tools (modules, plugins)
- Ability to write efficient, secure, and readable code
- Basic knowledge of data processing
- Basic knowledge of cryptographic methods (e.g., hashing, encryption)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and Golang HTTP libraries
- Strong understanding of Golang interfaces and their use in creating reusable, modular code
- Experience in writing good unit and integration tests, as well as clear documentation

About the Company
You will work in a small, highly skilled team from our modern offices in Charlottenburg. We strive to provide you with a wonderful working environment thanks to modern, ergonomic chairs and (standing) desks in small offices (maximum 4 people per office) to enable focused and stress-free work. We offer 28 days of paid vacation and provide a budget for training and conference visits. You will be able to write blogs about your work and present it to the world, as well as publish open-source software with us.
