Senior Backend Developer (Golang)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Golang) to join our team, specializing in API-first fiscalization solutions. With over 5 years of experience in backend development using Golang and other OOP languages, you will contribute to our SaaS platform, managing the full software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team of 3 - 7 people
• Have end-to-end delivery responsibility from developing, deploying, to monitoring the software
• Work on one of our API-first SaaS solutions for fiscalization or related areas
• Design and evolve the unified interface for all our services
• Ensure our documentation is kept relevant and supports us internally and externally
• Apply AI/ML tools (e.g., code generation, anomaly detection, test automation) to enhance software quality, performance, and efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ years as a full-time Backend Developer, preferably working with Golang and other OOP languages
• Knowledge about distributed systems
• Experience with Docker or similar container platforms
• Experience with RESTful and RPC-based APIs
• Effective communication skills to convey abstract ideas and concepts
• Preferably allowed to work within the EU Borders

Nice to Have

• Knowledge about SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience working in a Continuous Everything environment (GitOps)
• Practical experience with Kubernetes services and their deployment
• Experience with asynchronous message/event-based systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, PubSub,...)
• Knowledge about different types of database systems and when to best apply them (relational, document storage, key-value,...)
• Willingness to lead and discover new ways of solving complex problems
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional development
