Senior Backend Engineer - BI APP (all genders)

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for our BI APP team in Hamburg or Berlin, Germany, to develop smart BI solutions using NodeJS and TypeScript.

What To Expect

• Develop smart BI solutions utilizing NodeJS with TypeScript
• Manage extensive data volumes efficiently, employing Google BigQuery and integrating seamlessly with Business Intelligence systems
• Build and enhance high-traffic APIs, ensuring minimal latencies
• Work closely with experienced developers, product managers, data scientists, and analysts to improve existing features and introduce new ones
• Encourage innovative ideas and creations - a flat organizational structure, and fast decision-making processes ensure ample room for contribution and growth
• Draft architectural decisions together with our Tech Lead and explore new technologies

Who You Are

• At least 5 years of experience working in Backend
• Recent and practical experience with TypeScript
• Proficiency in working with SQL or No-SQL databases
• Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, and actively maintain the quality of the codebase
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in an English-speaking and agile environment
• Commitment to raising the quality of the software you work on

Nice to Have

• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with Google Big Query
• Familiarity with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions like Datadog
• Recent and practical experience with React, VueJs, or similar frontend frameworks

Salary Range

70k - 85k €
