Senior Backend Engineer (Java)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Java) to join our team in Kharkiv, Odessa, Dnipro, Kyiv, or remotely. As a key player in our development team, you will be responsible for the smooth delivery of specific projects and will collaborate with the rest of the team on common components.

Responsibilities

• Development of the architecture and technical design
• Implementation of all components under your responsibility
• Collaboration with colleagues in the development of common and shared components
• Development of CI/CD pipelines and other automation tools supporting productivity
• Regular communication with clients, gathering requirements and feedback, detecting business and technology opportunities

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• 4+ years of commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Solid experience with Modern Authentication and Authorization protocols (OAuth)
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Upper Intermediate or higher English level (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Zeebe
• Knowledge of Node.js and Vue.js
• Experience with enterprise-grade systems in a corporate environment
