About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin or Heidelberg, Germany, and contribute to our innovative digital insurance platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services
- Write clean, maintainable code
- Collaborate with frontend team to integrate user-facing features
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Strong knowledge of Backend and Engineering
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
