About the Position

Senior Backend Engineer

RevenueCat is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our remote team and design, build, ship, and own end-to-end product features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of end-users.

Responsibilities

Design, build, ship, and own end-to-end product features.
Write performant systems that operate at a huge scale.
Take ownership from problem scoping to production rollout to long-term maintenance.
Communicate clearly, both in real-time and asynchronously.

Requirements

8+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
Advanced SQL skills.
High bar for quality and ability to cut scope when needed.
Customer-obsessed mindset.
Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and React.
Experience building SDKs and shipping mobile apps with in-app purchases.

Nice to Have

Experience with AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
Familiarity with incident response.
