About the Position
Adaptiq is a technology hub specializing in building, scaling, and supporting R&D teams for high-end, fast-growing product companies in a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking a Senior Backend-Oriented Fullstack Developer with expertise in Node.js and React to join our team in a fully remote position.
About the Product
We are developing a unified platform for monitoring, optimizing, and automating digital workplace environments. The solution ingests real-time telemetry from endpoints, applications, virtual desktops, and back-end services, applies anomaly detection, and orchestrates responses via automation workflows. It serves thousands of enterprise customers, processes millions of events per day, and combines microservices architectures with containerized agents running on customer machines.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable back-end services and microservices using Node.js.
- Develop modern single-page applications with React, ensuring responsive, accessible UI.
- Work on agent-related components (C#/.NET process-level code) when needed.
- Architect and build high-performance APIs and real-time data pipelines.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
- Integrate LLMs (GPT-style, Claude, Gemini, or open-source) via APIs/SDKs and implement modern AI patterns such as function calling, agentic workflows, or semantic search.
- Create and maintain shared libraries, reusable components, and infrastructure packages.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform performance profiling, and guide root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years hands-on software engineering experience with a strong back-end focus on Node.js.
- Experience with other backend languages (C#/.NET, Java, or similar backend stacks).
- 3+ years building front-end applications with React and SPA architectures.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable APIs, distributed systems, and microservices.
- Expertise with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Redis, Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse (schema design, query optimization, and data modeling).
- Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven use of AI-powered coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code).
- Hands-on LLM integration experience (GPT/Claude/Gemini or open models) and modern AI patterns (agentic workflows, MCP, function/tool calling, semantic search).
- Experience building shared libraries, reusable components, and internal infrastructure packages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a verification-first mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and profiling tools.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
- Experience sharing technical best practices and mentoring.
