About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer to join our American blockchain startup. As part of our growing team, you will build quick, performant, and reliable systems. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact, write clean code, learn from the best, share knowledge, and ensure user delight in collaboration with Frontend, Product, and ML teams.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and responsibility within our team
- Build micro-service architectures, deploy systems to production, monitor, optimize, and scale
- Contribute ideas to improve product, processes, and algorithms
- Work closely with the ML team deploying LLM-based algorithms
- Share knowledge and learn, advocating for best practices to advance the standards
Requirements
- Python, SOLID, Design Patterns - high proficiency required
- 6+ years of experience in Backend. At least 2 years of experience as Senior Engineer
- Ability to write well-structured, testable code with thoughtful abstractions and interfaces
- High proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Clear communication, self-organization skills, and desire for ownership over a significant part of Backend
- English: good enough to read and write code documentation
- Basic DevOps and Kubernetes, proficiency with Docker and Linux
