We specialize in planning, developing, and implementing custom and innovative IT and software solutions for the healthcare sector.

We are currently seeking a (Senior) Backend-Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) to join our team in Hennigsdorf, DE.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the continuous development and maintenance of our laboratory order and results communication system in an agile development environment.
• Conception, development, and implementation of complex functions and modules using current technologies such as PHP, API Platform, Symfony, and Doctrine.
• Technical leadership and mentoring of backend developers.
• Technical implementation using modern development principles such as Clean Code and Design Patterns.
• Creation of coding guidelines and their expansion.
• Documentation of development and ensuring code quality.
• Co-design and optimization of our system architecture during ongoing operations and new projects.
• Performance analysis and improvement.
• Ensuring the quality of backend software through code reviews, automated tests, and advanced testing methods with PHPStan and Pest.
• Stakeholder communication between development, product, and test management.
• Documentation of technical matters in the ticketing system and internal knowledge base.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a successful vocational training as an application developer with relevant programming experience.
• Several years of in-depth experience in the development of APIs and backend technologies, particularly in PHP and the Symfony framework.
• Independent, structured, and quality-oriented working methods.
• A strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, and API design.
• Familiarity with common development environments and the version control system git.
• Experience in the implementation of functional and integration tests is desirable.
• Self-motivated, structured, and quality-oriented work approach.
• A committed team player with strong communication skills, flexibility, and enjoyment of cross-team collaboration.
• Very good German language skills.
