Senior Broadcast Project Manager (m/w/d)

About the Position

RIEDEL Communications, the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors, is seeking a Senior Broadcast Project Manager (m/w/d) to join our team in Wuppertal, Germany. As part of our Managed Technology division, you will be responsible for realizing complex broadcast, communication, and infrastructure projects for international sports and media productions. Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute national and international broadcast projects from tendering to successful implementation.
• Oversee the technical project planning of complex communication, audio, video, and network solutions.
• Coordinate internal departments, technical specialists, and external production partners.
• Act as the central contact person for clients, broadcasters, and other technical stakeholders.
• Ensure that budget, quality, and deadline targets are met.
• Take on technical project leadership during the implementation and production phase on-site.
• Identify risks early and develop pragmatic solutions.
• Ensure professional reporting and structured project documentation.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies or training in media technology, broadcast engineering/operations, event technology, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in technical project management of broadcast, TV, media, or live production projects.
• Solid understanding of broadcast workflows and technical production environments.
• Knowledge in video, audio, intercom, network, or IP-based infrastructure.
• Experience in working with international clients and partners.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a solution-oriented approach.
• Willingness to be present in the office in Wuppertal and travel internationally.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
