Senior Business Analyst

About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to support Argus Safety–related initiatives within a regulated pharmacovigilance environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise in pharmacovigilance, deep functional knowledge of Argus Safety, and hands-on experience in reporting and data analysis. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions aligned with global regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and end users
• Analyze and document business needs, translating them into clear functional and reporting requirements
• Act as a key liaison between business teams, development teams, and reporting teams
• Provide functional expertise in Argus Safety, supporting system enhancements and reporting initiatives
• Support OBIEE reporting requirements, validation, and data reconciliation activities
• Collaborate with technical teams by providing clarity on Argus backend schema, database structures, and data mapping
• Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning and execution
• Ensure all deliverables comply with pharmacovigilance regulations and quality standards
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle

Requirements

• 10+ years of Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with JIRA or similar requirement and defect-tracking tools
• Strong hands-on experience with Argus Safety
• Solid understanding of pharmacovigilance processes, including case management and regulatory reporting
• Familiarity with global PV compliance standards and best practices
• Hands-on experience with OBIEE Reporting
• Good understanding of Argus Safety backend schema and database structures
• Experience with data mapping, reporting requirements, and source-to-target documentation
• Hands-on experience in testing, validation, and UAT support
• Strong documentation skills, including:
  • Business and functional requirements
  • Report specifications
  • User guides
  • Test scripts and validation documents
  • Change requests and impact assessments
