Senior Business Analyst

Project Overview

Systematic is ramping up in the Defence business area, we are on the lookout for a Senior Business Analyst. You will be working closely with 3rd party, rolling out a mission-critical solution that creates value by simplifying decision-making when it matters.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and user requirements, and maintain clear product documentation.
• Communicate with users and stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate solutions - including surveys, user testing, and facilitating workshops and review sessions.
• Identify and propose solutions to business and user needs, collaborating with developers and UX/UI designers to refine designs.
• Write clear requirements, decompose features into actionable tasks, and support backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Support feature delivery through release, run post-release analysis, and investigate issues in business logic and UI to find root causes and improvements.
• Drive continuous product improvement and define analytical requirements (metrics, reporting, and data collection).

Requirements

Must have:

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in IT, with strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management skills.
• Hands-on experience creating product documentation (Product Vision, User Stories, Job Stories) and conducting stakeholder interviews, user research, surveys, and workshops.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Enterprise environments, complex system integration, and microservices architecture principles.
• Practical knowledge of process and system modeling (BPMN, UML) and tools like Git, Wiki, and Jira / Azure DevOps.
• Experience with data and analytics projects - gathering requirements for reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data sources, plus BI tools (Power BI or Tableau), product metrics, logs, and monitoring data.
• English proficiency (B2/C1+).

Will be an advantage:

• Understanding of system integration approaches and integration technologies
• Experience in cloud solutions, military, or mission-critical systems.
