We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Securities Finance Application to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. Responsibilities

• Write Comprehensive Functional Specifications: Craft detailed functional specifications to guide the development and ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements.
• Drive Testing Efforts: Collaborate closely with the development team to execute thorough testing of new features and enhancements, maintaining a high standard of quality and reliability.
• Provide User Training and Ongoing Support: Deliver comprehensive training sessions to users and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal utilization and user satisfaction.

Requirements

• Business Analysis: Proven experience in business analysis.
• Requirements Gathering: Expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• User Story Production: Ability to produce user stories that align with business needs.
• Functional Testing: Experience in executing functional testing to ensure product quality.
• Technical Skills:
  • Calypso: Knowledge of Calypso (practice).
  • Financial Markets: Strong understanding of financial markets and its basic instruments. Specific knowledge of securities finance is highly valued.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements, identify potential challenges, and propose innovative solutions to address them effectively.
• Language Skills:
  • English: Fluency in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and end-users.
• Soft Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential, especially when under pressure and time constraints.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges.
  • Highly motivated to work directly for a front-office IT team.
