Senior Business Analyst

We specialize in Artificial Intelligence, Data and Cloud, Intelligent Automation, and Digital Products, combining deep technical expertise with a strong focus on engineering excellence and a people-first culture.

In the CEE region, we’re a team of nearly 1,000 experts delivering modern applications, data platforms, and AI solutions for clients such as Millennium, ING, Play, Edenred, Arabian Drilling, FedEx, Leroy Merlin, Truecaller, Volotea, Schmitz Cargobull, and many, many more. We work with leading technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake, and combine strong engineering culture with a consulting mindset and a continuous focus on growth and knowledge sharing.

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Poland, focusing on data migration and analysis for a leading digital transformation partner.

Responsibilities

  • Mapping stakeholders for each migration package, including business owners, data owners, key report users, and domain digital contacts, and agreeing on clear sign-off responsibilities.
  • Confirming with business owners which data products and reports will be migrated, consolidated, or retired, using dependency analysis and report-usage evidence provided by the delivery teams.
  • Translating business expectations into clear, testable acceptance criteria, including relevant figures, reports, user groups, and acceptable tolerances.
  • Ensuring that acceptance criteria are agreed upon before the build begins.
  • Preparing and presenting evidence-based recommendations for consolidating or retiring overlapping reports.
  • Resolving consolidation decisions directly with stakeholders and escalating contested cases to the Data Council.
  • Organizing product demonstrations and User Acceptance Testing, supported by side-by-side reconciliation results prepared by the migration pods.
  • Tracking UAT findings, actions, and decisions through to resolution.
  • Obtaining formal business sign-off for the Gold data product and its related reports.
  • Securing go-live confirmation from domain teams and coordinating the gradual transition of consumers to the new solution.
  • Confirming that users have moved to the new path and obtaining approval to decommission legacy dependencies.
  • Handing over complete decommissioning evidence to the teams responsible for executing the shutdown.
  • Maintaining clear, package-level visibility of stakeholder maps, acceptance criteria, consolidation decisions, UAT results, and all required sign-offs in the weekly status report.
  • Working closely with business and data owners, domain digital teams, migration pods, BI engineers, the Program Manager, and the Delivery Lead.
  • Escalating stalled packages, unresolved decisions, and risks early, with clear recommendations and next steps.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Change Manager, or in a similar stakeholder-facing role.
  • Proven experience working in data, BI, analytics, or migration programs.
  • Experience taking ownership of business validation activities, including scope confirmation, acceptance criteria, UAT, sign-off, and user adoption.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the credibility to work with business owners, data owners, and senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to challenge stakeholders, make evidence-based recommendations, and say no without damaging the relationship.
  • Sufficient data literacy to interpret reconciliation results, understand report logic, and explain findings clearly to business users.
  • Experience facilitating demos, workshops, and UAT sessions involving both business and technical teams.
  • Ability to manage conflicting expectations and drive decisions through to resolution.
  • A highly organized, proactive, and persistent approach, with the ability to follow up until required approvals and sign-offs are obtained.
  • Strong ownership and the ability to work independently in a complex, distributed program environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Practical experience using AI-powered assistants, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot, to improve productivity and quality in analytical and documentation work.
  • Availability to visit the client’s office in Warsaw when required, up to twice per week.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with large-scale data or BI migrations.
  • Experience in report rationalization, consolidation, or retirement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting user adoption and the decommissioning of legacy solutions.
  • Familiarity with data governance structures and decision-making forums such as Data Councils.
  • Experience working with Gold-layer data products or similar curated data models.
  • Experience applying GenAI tools in a structured way within business analysis workflows.
  • Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily analytical and documentation work.
  • Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g., automation of analysis tasks, AI-supported documentation, or workflow optimization), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
