About the Position

Senior Business Analyst (K10115)

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in business analysis and requirements to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. This role is pivotal in analyzing, structuring, and formalizing business needs within the framework of Capac's transformation initiatives, particularly those related to the core business (payment of unemployment benefits) and digitalization projects.

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis and Content Production

  • Gather, analyze, and challenge stakeholder needs
  • Identify efficiency, quality, and automation gains
  • Formalize requirements (user stories, specifications, acceptance criteria)
  • Ensure coherence between business needs, IT constraints, and strategic objectives
  • Participate in the prioritization of initiatives according to Capac's governance model
  • Contribute to validation, testing, and deployment phases

• Structuring the Business Analysis Function

  • Define and promote standards, methods, and tools for business analysis
  • Implement best practices adapted to the CAPAC context (pragmatism, agility)
  • Contribute to the governance of analyses (quality, coherence, traceability)

• Coaching & Development of Internal Skills

  • Mentor and support business experts transitioning to business analyst roles
  • Train in basic analysis techniques (processes, requirements, modeling)
  • Ensure progressive skill transfer
  • Implement mentoring and feedback mechanisms
  • Contribute to the emergence of an autonomous internal business analyst team

• Coordination and Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between business, IT, and project teams
  • Facilitate workshops, framing, and validation sessions
  • Identify and manage dependencies between initiatives
  • Contribute to resolving issues related to understanding needs
  • Participate in relevant governance bodies
