Senior Business Analyst - Payments

About the Position

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support our team in Diegem, Belgium.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to create a feasible implementation roadmap for our best-in-class products that will define the world of fintech. You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self-motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.

Responsibilities

• Performs gap analysis between the client’s business requirements and FIS product functionalities.
• Designs solutions of how these gaps will impact the business processes and makes recommendations and changes to improve and support business systems.
• Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions.
• Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Delivers working product increments to our clients, on time, on budget and according to the best quality standards.
• Works with product management, project manager, the client, and teams to define and prioritize the product backlog for your team.
• Engages in scrum rituals and ceremonies.
• Drives improvements in solution design, analysis, and testing activities to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

• Knowledge of payment schemes (SEPA classic, SEPA instant, SWIFT).
• Knowledge of business analysis principles and ratios.
• A bachelor’s in business administration, finance, computer science, or information systems or the equivalent experience.
• Good technical background to understand detailed use cases.
• Knowledge of FIS’ payment products and services if possible.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.
• Willingly shares relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources.
• Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed.
• Fluent French and English speaking & writing.
