About the Position
Location: Kraków
Type of contract: Employment contract
Salary range: 13 900 - 21 200 PLN gross/month
As a Senior Business Analyst in the Corporate and Institutional Bank 1st Party Lending Fraud area, you will translate fraud risk needs into clear business and system requirements, data capabilities, and operational controls. You will collaborate with Technology, Data Science, Credit and Capital Management, and Business teams to enhance fraud risk management capabilities and deliver measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze fraud risk requirements and translate them into business and system specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver data and reporting solutions
- Support the development of fraud risk controls and monitoring frameworks
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and process flows
- Identify opportunities to improve fraud risk management capabilities
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Facilitate communication between technical and business teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry, ideally in lending fraud or financial crime
- Experience in consulting and/or risk management is an advantage
- Strong understanding of corporate lending and the associated risks alongside financial crime risk management in corporate banking
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, with experience in advanced analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in financial crime prevention is highly desirable
