Senior Business Analyst - Workers’ Compensation

About the Position

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with Workers’ Compensation knowledge and experience for a role in Charleston, SC. This position is integral to bridging the gap between IT and insurance operations, focusing on analyzing, designing, and implementing technical solutions for policy, claims, and underwriting systems.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Analysis: Evaluating business needs to create, test, and implement technical solutions.
• Project Leadership: Managing the full project lifecycle, including defining scope and managing risks.
• Documentation: Creating detailed requirements, functional specifications, and data flow analyses.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with various departments to ensure IT systems align with business goals.
• Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel) and data visualization tools.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or technology is generally required, with a master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in a business analyst role, with 5+ years' experience in the Insurance Software Domain.
• Skills: Deep knowledge of US workers' comp regulations, requirement gathering, SQL, and agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Experience with data visualization tools
