About the Position
Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Master with Japanese IRC301994
GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is a trusted digital engineering partner to the world’s largest and most forward-thinking companies. We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Master with Japanese proficiency to join our IT Business Systems Analysts team in Romania, working remotely.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain project plans, deliverables, and project documentation.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to clarify business needs and priorities.
- Translate business requirements into actionable specifications for the delivery team.
- Establish and maintain trusted and effective communication with the customer, stakeholders, and GlobalLogic project teams.
- Tailor project delivery processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Monitor, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Manage distributed project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support backlog refinement, scope management, and change request assessment.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, project scope, and delivered solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process and solution improvements.
- Report project status, risks, and key challenges to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
Requirements
- Written and spoken Japanese language proficiency (equivalent of JLPT N1 or N2, it is not mandatory to have an official JLPT certification)
- Written and spoken English language proficiency (equivalent of B2 or higher)
- Hands-on experience in IT project management – best in the area of software development life cycle
- Proven track record of working closely with customers across multiple SDLC stages
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate working between Japan and CEE-based teams
- Ability to make decisions with a limited amount of information
- Ability to guide the team through uncertainty and complexity to deliver agreed content
