Overview

A specialist insurance organisation is seeking a Senior Business & Data Analyst to support complex data and system transformation programmes within the London Market. This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology, requiring strong analytical capability alongside confident senior stakeholder engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business and data analysis across underwriting, pricing, policy administration, claims, and reinsurance
  • Analyse, profile, and validate complex insurance datasets using SQL
  • Define data mappings, business rules, and transformation logic
  • Conduct data quality assessments and support reconciliation activities
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
  • Act as a bridge between underwriting, claims, finance, operations, and technology teams
  • Support agile delivery across multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst within London Market or Lloyd's insurance
  • Strong domain knowledge across Syndicates, Delegated Authority, Reinsurance underwriting and claims
  • Strong SQL experience for hands-on data analysis
  • Experience working on data-led transformation or platform modernisation initiatives
  • Confident engaging senior business and technology stakeholders
