Why We Need You

As a Senior Business Improvement Consultant, you will play a key role in complex transformations within the Dutch government and government agencies. You will be the content partner for clients, translating policies and legislation into robust processes and knowing how to combine administrative complexity with pragmatic solutions.

With your extensive experience in process improvement, business analysis, and software implementations (such as Pega, ServiceNow, or SAP), you will help organizations perform demonstrably better. You will work on issues related to continuity, compliance, service delivery, and digitalization, where BIAs, product cards, and process models form an essential part of your approach.

You switch effortlessly between strategy, analysis, and implementation. One day you guide stakeholders in redesigning critical government processes, the next day you develop them into clear process models and improvement initiatives. You act as a mentor for less experienced consultants and work closely with technical specialists within Atos.

Your Impact

As a Senior Business Improvement Consultant, you will make a difference on two levels:

Process and Chain Optimization

You design and improve complex (government) processes using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Operational Excellence
You conduct and guide Business Impact Analyses (BIAs)
You work with product cards and process architectures within administrative and legal frameworks

Digital Transformation & Implementation

You translate business needs into sustainable solutions within standard software platforms
You understand the technical possibilities and limitations and advise on them at a senior level

Your work has a direct impact on the quality, reliability, and future-proofing of public services.

Requirements

For this senior role, we are looking for an experienced professional who feels at home within the Dutch government:

Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with Dutch government organizations or government agencies
Fluent in Dutch and professionally communicative in English
Completed higher education degree
Certified in Business Process Modelling (e.g., BPMN)
Demonstrable experience with BIAs and product cards
Experience with process improvement and software implementations (Pega, ServiceNow, SAP, or similar)
Strong advisory skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels
The ambition to share knowledge and mentor junior/mid-level consultants
