Senior Business Project Manager

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Business Project Manager to join our Business Support department in Madrid, with the possibility of working from home up to 40%. Shape the future of finance with us.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic and highly complex projects using SIX methodology, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and overseeing the entire project lifecycle.
• Analyze initiatives, prepare value-driven proposals, and present them in internal and external forums, representing the organization at national and international levels.
• Act as a bridge between business and IT to define requirements, align solutions, ensure functional quality, and lead testing and implementation activities.
• Produce and review key documentation (procedures, functional requirements, legal and technical materials), ensuring full compliance with SIX governance standards.
• Provide subject-matter expertise as a functional reference, contributing to internal and external working groups and influencing product aspects such as pricing strategies and operating models.
• Drive organizational transformation toward agile and virtual operating models, fostering collaboration, efficiency, and consistency in the execution of complex projects.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management or Project portfolio area. Experience in financial markets, clearing, or settlement area will be highly valuable.
• Proven leadership skills through leading project teams.
• Project management skills, agile methods (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe) and good general management knowledge.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Very good oral and written skills in English and Spanish.
