We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior C++ Developer to join our team in Kraków, Poland. Our company specializes in creating medical software products used by thousands of doctors and medical staff in Poland. Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing functionalities
• Creating APIs and database communication
• Integrating with external systems
• Analyzing and solving technical problems
• Ensuring code quality (code review, tests)
• Actively participating in technical decisions
• Supporting the team in making technical decisions and sharing knowledge
• Collaborating with QA and Product Owner

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in C++ application development or 2 years as a senior
• Ability to independently design solutions for complex problems and break them into implementation stages
• Understanding of the business context of solutions and taking responsibility for their practical operation (not just implementation)
• Not limited to task execution – interested in whether the solution meets user needs
• Actively identifies problems, proposes solutions, and improvements
• Communicates clearly and can justify technical decisions
• Able to support other team members, share knowledge, and help in making technical decisions
• Designs solutions with maintainability and system development in mind
• English proficiency at least at B2 level

Technical Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of C++ 17 (or newer)
• Experience with creating applications for Windows
• Excellent knowledge of SQL (preferably in the context of PostgreSQL)
• Ability to design good and normalized database schemas, understanding of indexes
• Experience with SOAP Web Services
• Knowledge of multithreading issues
• Experience with legacy code, ability to safely refactor without regression risk
• Knowledge of defensive programming

Nice to Have:

• Higher technical education (preferably in computer science)
• Knowledge of Python, C#, Lua, HTML/Javascript
• Experience with FastReport Studio
• Knowledge of Scrum methodology
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of application security principles and best practices
