(Senior) Consultant AI & Governance Due Diligence (m/f/d)

OMMAX GmbH, a leading digital strategy consultancy, is seeking a (Senior) Consultant AI & Governance Due Diligence to join our team in München, Berlin, or London. This role is pivotal in shaping the digital future by focusing on AI and governance in investment contexts.

Responsibilities

• Assess the strategic, technical, operational, and governance maturity of AI-enabled companies and products.
• Collaborate with investors, management teams, domain experts, and technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate AI products, models, data assets, architectures, engineering capabilities, operating models, risks, scalability, and defensibility.
• Translate complex findings into clear, decision-ready implications for investment committees and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, architects, data specialists, strategy consultants, and legal or risk experts on integrated assessments.
• Contribute to reusable diligence frameworks, benchmarks, proposals, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Outstanding university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• At least 2-3 years of experience in technology consulting, AI/data strategy, transaction advisory, due diligence, or digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of modern data, AI, and governance architectures and their impact on scalability, compliance, and value creation.
• Experience working on AI, data, or governance topics in M&A or private equity environments is ideal.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to evaluate complex technology-driven business models.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
