About the Position
Senior Consultant Azure VDI
All for One Egypt is seeking a Senior Consultant Azure VDI to join our team in Alexandria, Egypt. This role involves managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments and collaborating with clients to optimize their infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Exposure to the entire lifecycle of Azure Virtual Desktop environments as well as Citrix VDI. Analysis, Conception, Configuration, Architecture, and Operation.
- Connecting customers' on-premises environment to Azure and preparing the landing zone in Azure to build workflows and services on top of it.
- Using our products for optimization, scaling, and monitoring of AVD.
- Collaborating with customers to design, test, and implement Citrix infrastructures, including XenDesktop, XenApp, XenServer, XenClient, and NetScaler.
- Operating Hybrid Infrastructures.
- Supporting customers in the transformation and defining suitable operating concepts.
- Conducting comprehensive analyses of existing environments to identify vulnerabilities, uncover performance bottlenecks, and highlight optimization potential.
- Developing customized solutions for automating server processes to maximize efficiency and scalability.
- Creating technical concepts, roadmaps, and architecture designs for our services.
- Collaborating closely with customers, project teams, and other departments to understand requirements, develop solutions, and successfully carry out implementations.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university studies (Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent vocational qualification.
- Solid experience with Azure IaaS and preferably also with AVD and Citrix.
- Experience with configuration management solution Ansible.
- Good knowledge and interest in current technological trends in the field of O365, M365, or e.g. Azure, SharePoint Online, Dynamics 365.
- Ideally, Citrix or Azure VDI certifications.
- Strong experience in PowerShell.
- Good knowledge in areas such as Active Directory, Group Policies, network protocols, and security.
- You understand how applications work and are installed.
- Strong consulting and communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Very good command of English written and spoken - German language skills a definitive plus.
- Strong customer orientation and the ability to perform successfully in a demanding environment.
- Ability to work independently and results-oriented.
