Job Description

As a Senior Consultant FAAS in Milano, you will be responsible for:

• Modeling fair value (Mark to Model or Alternative Valuation Method) for illiquid financial instruments;
• Pricing analysis and fair value calculation for both liquid and illiquid financial instruments;
• Knowledge of financial instruments with a particular focus on structured securities, derivatives, and alternative investment funds;
• Hedge effectiveness testing for derivatives;
• First and second-level controls on the pricing of financial instruments provided by third parties;
• Determining the correct classification of financial instruments within the fair value hierarchy according to IFRS13;
• Knowledge of securitization operations and waterfall models for fair value estimation;
• Preparing client reports on valuation activities.

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Experience: 3+ years in the financial/banking/insurance sector.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and sources of instrument pricing.
  • Knowledge of financial instrument valuation methods and models.
  • Familiarity with major data providers used in market practice (e.g., Bloomberg).
  • Knowledge of major financial instruments.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; basics of Data Analytics/Data Reporting.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS and Local GAAP) and insurance regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team and interact with various stakeholders.
