About the Role
As a Senior Consultant Identity & Access Management, you will support our clients in securely and efficiently managing identities, access, and permissions in modern cloud and hybrid environments.
You will work at the intersection of security, cloud platforms, and infrastructure – in various client projects, from medium-sized companies to enterprise environments.
You will combine technical expertise with consulting skills: you will analyze, design, and support the implementation of modern IAM and Zero-Trust architectures.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on Identity & Access Management strategies (IAM, Zero Trust, Least Privilege)
- Designing and developing identity architectures in cloud environments
- Implementing and optimizing identity providers and SSO solutions (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Azure, AWS)
- Implementing role, rights, and permissions concepts (RBAC / ABAC)
- Implementing federation standards such as SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect
- Supporting identity lifecycle management (Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes)
- Conducting IAM audits, access reviews, and compliance requirements
- Working closely with security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams at the client
Requirements
- Experience in IAM, IT Security, or Cloud Architecture
- Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of identity governance, access controls, and Zero-Trust principles
- Experience with identity providers, directory services, or SSO solutions
- Ability to explain technical IAM concepts clearly to clients
Nice to Have
- Certifications (e.g., MS SC-300, MS-102)
- Experience in consulting projects or external client environments
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, BSI-Grundschutz)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or Bicep
- Experience with IAM tools like Microsoft Entra ID or Okta
