About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Consultant for International Accounting & Capital Market Advisory to join our team in Berlin. You will provide expert advice on capital market reporting and financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise national and international clients on the implementation of capital market-compliant reporting and the transition of accounting standards from HGB to IFRS or US GAAP.
• Support consulting projects in preparation (IPO Readiness) and the execution of initial public offerings (IPO), and assist in the compilation and preparation of financial information, particularly for corporate transactions (e.g., Carve-out or Combined Financial Statements).
• Manage projects efficiently using current software solutions. Additionally, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) is increasingly important in capital market reporting.
• As part of our team, you will have ample opportunities to shape your role and further develop your expertise in International Accounting & Capital Market Advisory.
• Collaborate extensively with experts from the Forvis Mazars network in an international context.
• Engage in continuous learning in related areas and explore other consulting fields.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field.
• Initial or several years of professional experience in the mentioned areas, with a strong affinity for solving complex problems.
• Superior analytical skills and a strong affinity for numbers. Good theoretical and practical knowledge of national and international accounting standards.
• Team player with strong communication skills and initiative.
• Dedicated personality with high commitment and fluent German and English language skills.
