About the Position

Senior Consultant / IT Manager Software Engineering / Product Development

We are looking for a Senior Consultant / IT Manager Software Product Development (m/f/d) to join our team and support customers in the area of Risk Advisory - Digital Risk with secure digitalization and the successful use of agile methods. Our team continuously provides customers with new and established services to reduce digital risks and covers a diverse range of services. Secure our mutual success and make the difference with us!

Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant / IT Manager Software Product Development (m/f/d), your focus is on software product development. Here, you support and accompany our customers throughout the entire process - from defining and managing requirements to software architecture, development, testing, go-live, and maintenance.

  • Innovation: Implement creative solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies. Design new software products together with our clients.
  • Development cycle: Support our clients throughout all phases of the entire SDLC – Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Hands-on mentality: Develop new services for use as part of the software development process.
  • Working environment: Using agile methods such as Scrum, develop web applications (full-stack, e.g., Spring, React, Angular) or cloud-based solutions (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure) based on modern technologies.
  • Teamwork: Ensure tailor-made and optimal solutions for our clients by being in contact with our (international) delivery centers.

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) information technology, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, or comparable, ideal: certification in requirements or test management (IREB, ISTQB).
  • Knowledge of a programming language (e.g., Java, Python) plus experience in application development including SDLC processes.
  • Experience in one of the following specialist areas: Software product management; requirements management in the course of SW product development; architecture.
  • Practice in one of the following topics: development/programming; processes/tools (GIT, Maven, Jira); agile project management (Scrum, Kanban), test management/execution; DevOps.
  • Willingness to travel and very good communication and presentation skills in German and English, very good in writing and speaking.
