About the Position

Senior Consultant Software Asset Management (SAM) / Cloud Management

Do you want to support customers in the area of Risk Advisory – Digital Risk in secure digitization and the successful use of agile methods? Our team continuously provides customers with new and established services to reduce digital risks, covering a diverse range of services. Ensure our joint success and make the difference with us as Senior Consultant Software Asset Management (m/f/x).

Your Impact

As a senior consultant (m/f/x) for software asset and cloud cost management, you support the digital risk team through independent software asset management (SAM) and by specifying requirements for SAM-related systems.

  • Analysis: Understand complex datasets using modern methods (such as data mining) and tools.
  • Knowledge sharing: Interpret the analyzed results in a target-group-oriented presentation (e.g. management summary in PowerPoint).
  • Optimization: Improve and implement measures for the processes in operational software asset management and cloud management.
  • Preparing statements: Report on risk (e.g. regarding unlicensed software use) and cost effectiveness (e.g. regarding unused software licenses or cloud products).

Your Skillset

  • Successfully completed degree in (business) informatics, industrial engineering, or similar, ideally with focus on IT strategy
  • Experience with database technologies, programming, and/or script languages and options for data evaluation and visualization
  • Familiar with the principles of agile working methods (e.g. Scrum) and with the contractual/billing and licensing terms of the cloud providers or SaaS software vendors
  • Analytical and independent with expertise in technology and keen interest in business matters
  • Good German (B2) and very good English, both written and spoken
