Our team is one of the largest real estate and infrastructure advisory groups, supporting private and public sector clients on complex transformation and infrastructure initiatives. We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant with experience in transmission grids, energy infrastructure, and project controls to support leading German and European energy-sector clients on strategic and operational engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full project lifecycle of large-scale infrastructure and energy transmission projects.
  • Provide consulting and project management support across planning, engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Perform project controls activities, including cost management, schedule management, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for transmission grid and energy infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor project performance against budgets, schedules, milestones, and quality standards.
  • Develop and review project documentation, engineering plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineering partners, and project teams.
  • Support business and operational transformation initiatives within the infrastructure and energy sector.
  • Participate in on-site project reviews and technical assessments when required.
  • Work with project management and collaboration tools such as Primavera, CDE Enterprise, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Ensure project compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations, including German standards such as VDE and DIN.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, market assessments, project documentation, and client presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in transmission grid or energy infrastructure construction projects.
  • Hands-on experience in project controls, particularly:
    • Cost management
    • Schedule management
    • Quality management
  • Experience working on cable transmission or grid infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of German regulations, industry standards, and technical frameworks, including VDE and DIN.
  • Familiarity with HVDC/DC transmission projects will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Experience with Primavera, CDE Enterprise, Jira, or equivalent project delivery tools.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • High willingness to travel according to project requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working for German transmission system operators (TSOs) or engineering companies supporting these organizations.
  • Prior exposure to large-scale German or European transmission infrastructure programs.
  • Understanding of the regulatory and operational environment of the German energy market.
