About the Position

PD - Berater der öffentlichen Hand GmbH is a public welfare consulting company with locations across Germany. We are seeking a (Senior) Consultant (w/m/d) to join our interdisciplinary consulting team for the transformation of tax and financial administration in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Stuttgart, or Wiesbaden. This position is available immediately and is a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Project Participation and Leadership: Engage in or lead projects related to the digital transformation of tax and financial administration, efficient tax procedure adjustments, and tax process consulting.
• Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of strategies, visions, and initiatives for a modern, efficient, and capable tax system.
• Team Development: Participate in the advancement of the PD tax transformation team and the company as a whole.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients, providing expert advice and coaching on initiating and managing complex projects and programs across various departments and federal levels.

Requirements

• Education: A completed university degree (Master/Diploma) preferably in Business Administration, Financial Economics, Business Informatics, or a similar field with an excellent grade.
• Experience: Several years of relevant professional experience and knowledge in tax process consulting or tax declaration is desirable.
• Certification: A completed training as a tax assistant (w/m/d/n) is advantageous.
• Skills: Experience with process analysis and competencies in process and decision modeling is beneficial. Project management experience in technological transformation projects is required.
• Abilities: Strong problem analysis, solution structuring, presentation, and implementation skills.
• Attributes: High customer and service orientation, commitment, enthusiasm, and energy to shape the modernization of administration.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent German language skills (C1 level) in both written and spoken form are required for secure and precise internal and external communication with various stakeholders.
