Responsibilities

• Leverage your expertise as a senior consultant / manager in Financial Due Diligence and make a difference in the transaction world.
• Conduct in-depth financial analyses and provide valuable insights to the owners and management teams of our clients.
• Analyze the historical and projected results of the company, its financial position, and other complex issues, using data analytics, combining insights from various sources, and conducting interviews.
• Map out the value drivers, opportunities, and risks of the company by analyzing (projected) EBITDA, working capital levels, and balance sheet positions.
• Translate your conclusions into specific points of attention for the valuation and structuring of the transaction.
• Maintain close contact with other advisors, both within and outside EY, and other stakeholders in the transaction.
• Contribute to the development of the team, both professionally and informally, and play a role in building client relationships.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of work experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and the financial world in general.
• A master’s degree in finance, (Financial) Economics, Finance & Investments, Accounting & Financial Management, or another finance-oriented or technical field.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel and an affinity for working with new data analysis tools (Alteryx and Power BI).
• Experience with managing or coaching junior colleagues and a passion for helping others grow their knowledge.

Nice to Have

• Additional experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, and the Financial World.
• Fluency in additional languages.
