Senior Creative Director

VML is a global creative company that combines brand experience, customer experience, and commerce to create connected brands that drive growth. We are seeking a Senior Creative Director to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct brainstorm sessions with digital specialists to create innovative solutions and campaign ideas for clients.
• Select the strongest copywriting and maintain accountability for the overall quality of creative work.
• Collaborate closely with production houses to enhance the quality of production.
• Manage the team's workload and ensure optimal working conditions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in digital marketing, digital advertising, and technology.
• Engage in high-level face-to-face client interactions, providing thought leadership.
• Mentor and nurture the team to help them reach their potential.
• Find and hire potential team members.
• Manage the creative strategy and general direction of client work.
• Serve as the department leader and ensure the continued growth of the team.
• Manage client relationships and deepen their knowledge of interactive marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Media, Art, Design, Creative Multimedia, or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience as an Associate Creative Director, preferably with some digital background.
• Strong storytelling skills with a sound ideation and conceptual ability.
• Experience in producing large-scale digital campaigns.
• Knowledge and experience in brand building.
• Ability to solve problems and think strategically.
• Achievements in prestigious advertising awards are a bonus.
• Highly proficient in using Keynote for presentations.
• Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills in both Bahasa and English.
• Advocates unorthodox thinking with no fear of innovation.
• Strong knowledge of interaction design, technology, usability, and experience design.
• Compelling portfolio of distinctive work that spans product/service design and storytelling.
• Ability to inspire and motivate the creative team.
