Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

About the Position

GONKSYS is a leading integrator in Systems and IT, offering end-to-end solutions in Cybersecurity, Data Center, Networking & Wi-Fi, and Unified Communications. As part of its growth strategy, we are looking to strengthen our consulting team in Porto with a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to drive innovation and technical quality in our projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales initiatives, gathering client requirements and translating them into detailed cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop and present complete solution proposals, technical designs, and presentations.
• Scale professional services.
• Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and respond to RFPs and RFIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (commercial and technical) to ensure alignment between client requirements and proposed solutions.
• Act as a technical expert in client meetings and throughout the sales cycle.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity.
• Participate in strategic discussions with clients, contributing to the long-term planning of roadmaps.

Requirements

• Degree and/or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in pre-sales or solution architecture roles.
• Specialization in cybersecurity domains, including NGFW, WAF, EDR, PAM.
• Knowledge of IoT security solutions and vulnerability mitigation.
• Knowledge of risk assessment processes and cyber maturity levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Relevant certifications in the field are highly valued.
