About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst/Data Engineer to join our team in Osnabrück, working remotely or on-site, to manage data and analytics projects.

Responsibilities

• You will take over data and analytics projects independently – from the initial requirement to successful implementation.
• You will analyze customer requirements, coordinate closely with stakeholders, and design and moderate workshops.
• You will create and optimize reports and dashboards, for example with Power BI or Tableau, and ensure meaningful visualizations.
• You will prepare, transform, and analyze data, for example using semantic modeling.
• You will develop, operate, and optimize data pipelines and automate data processes.
• You will integrate and link different data sources, for example via REST services, APIs, or databases.
• You will process and transform data using common technologies such as Apache Spark, PySpark, or SparkSQL.

Requirements

• You have completed a degree in IT or with an IT focus, or have completed training in IT - or you have acquired your know-how through another path.
• You bring many years of project experience in the data/analytics environment.
• You have extensive know-how in reporting and data modeling or
• You have in-depth knowledge in the setup of data pipelines and data processing and bring an understanding of data orchestration.
• You have experience with ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and with MS Azure and Apache Spark/PySpark.
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• You are a team player and your analytical thinking, as well as your strong customer orientation and independent working style, round off your profile.
• You have a firm command of German in speech and writing.
