About the Position

Senior Data Analyst | Data Modeler @ ING Hubs Romania

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst | Data Modeler to join our global team at ING Hubs Romania. This role focuses on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing, working with data from over 20 countries to ensure compliance and security.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from multiple countries using SQL and data modeling tools.
• Communicate with business and technical stakeholders to support data roadmaps.
• Ensure the efficient handling of customer data, maintaining quality and compliance.
• Help prevent money laundering and financial crimes globally.
• Solve complex IT problems and challenges.
• Analyze business requirements for KYC-related products and services.
• Optimize and automate processes according to data standards.
• Simplify solutions and processes in a complex IT landscape.
• Ensure compliance with ING’s policies and standards.
• Build bridges between business and IT.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in data delivery solution design.
• Solid experience with SQL queries for checking, aggregating, and analyzing large datasets.
• Previous experience in incident management process support.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple topics in an Agile environment.
• Experience in Financial Economic Crime, Anti-Money Laundering, or Compliance is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Maths, or Economics/Business.
