Senior Data Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer**

Responsibilities

Collaborate with your agile, cross-functional project team to enable clients from various industries to make their data usable.
Engage closely with clients to consult on the technical feasibility and specific implementation of their digital innovations.
As a Senior Data Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer, you will shape the foundation for future analyses and data-driven services, developing scalable, robust, and maintainable architectures.
Design and implement data platforms, data processing pipelines, and data services as highly scalable, distributed systems in the cloud, on-premises, or hybrid.
Serve as an expert in end-to-end integration of data / ETL pipelines and the deployment of machine learning models up to the delivery of results within existing IT systems.
As an architect or technical lead, you will be responsible for selecting and implementing suitable technologies, ensuring data integrity and security, and effectively collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to achieve client goals through data-based solutions.

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For

You have a completed degree in STEM or a comparable field and bring several years of professional experience and solid knowledge in most of the technologies mentioned above.
You have already built larger data architectures or data services in the cloud on multiple occasions.
In addition to your project work, you actively participate in client discussions and convince them of our competencies and solutions. You also enjoy making topics visible externally (blog, talks, LinkedIn, conferences) and developing our offerings together with us.
In the fast-paced AI & Data Tooling landscape, you keep track of new technologies, knowing how to classify and integrate them meaningfully and efficiently into existing or newly built data services.
You feel comfortable taking responsibility for shaping and implementing data architecture or for the technical leadership of development projects. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with less experienced colleagues and mentoring them.
You communicate complex technical and non-technical content in a target-group-appropriate manner. You speak the language of developers as well as that of non-technical contacts.
Thanks to your empathy for customer needs, a good sense for organizations, and stakeholder constellations, you build trusting relationships with our clients.
Very good German skills are a prerequisite (at least level C1), good English skills round off your profile.
