We are currently recruiting a Senior Data Engineer (m/f) for a Hybrid role in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data architectures focusing on Lakehouse and Data Warehouse implementations.
• Implement and manage data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric's OneLake and data pipeline features.
• Utilize SQL, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse tools, and Power BI for data engineering tasks.
• Develop and maintain Semantic Models using DAX Language.
• Perform data validation and troubleshooting.
• Automate data processing and workflows using Python or R.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft Fabric.
• Organize Lakehouse data following Medallion Architecture principles.
• Troubleshoot and optimize on-premises SQL Server databases.

Requirements

• Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric's OneLake and data pipeline features.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse tools, and Power BI.
  • Experience with DAX Language and Semantic Models.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with data validation.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for advanced data processing and automation.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft Fabric.
  • Familiarity with Medallion Architecture principles for organizing Lakehouse data.
  • Experience with on-premises SQL Server databases, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Proficiency in English.
