What You Will Do
As a Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d), you will shape the data-driven future of our clients – develop scalable ETL/ELT processes with Databricks, Spark, and Python, optimize the data infrastructure, and implement modern CI/CD and Data Governance solutions. Bring your expertise to establish best practices and create production-ready solutions together with Data Architects and AI Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Data Pipelines: You will develop and optimize scalable ETL/ELT processes with Databricks and Spark.
- Infrastructure: You will manage Databricks workspaces and optimize data pipelines in terms of performance and costs.
- Automation: You will set up CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code.
- End-to-End: You will develop reusable data products and implement data governance technically.
- Collaboration: You will work closely with Data Architects and AI Engineers on production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Experience: You bring relevant experience in the development and operation of end-to-end data engineering solutions.
- Tech Stack: You are proficient with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, Spark, Delta Lake, and (T-)SQL.
- Best Practices: You are well-versed in pipeline development, testing strategies, and data governance.
- DevOps: You have experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep), and Git.
- Communication: You can explain complex technical topics clearly and enjoy working in a team.
- Languages: You speak fluent German and English.
