About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d) at M&M Software GmbH, you will shape the data-driven future of our clients. Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes with Databricks, Spark, and Python, optimize data infrastructure, and implement modern CI/CD and Data Governance solutions. Bring your expertise to establish best practices and create production-ready solutions with Data Architects and AI Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Data Pipelines: Develop and optimize scalable ETL/ELT processes with Databricks and Spark.
- Infrastructure: Manage Databricks workspaces and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost.
- Automation: Set up CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code.
- End-to-End: Develop reusable data products and implement data governance technically.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Data Architects and AI Engineers on production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Experience: Relevant experience in developing and operating end-to-end data engineering solutions.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, Spark, Delta Lake, and (T-)SQL.
- Best Practices: Expertise in pipeline development, testing strategies, and data governance.
- DevOps: Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep), and Git.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and work well in a team.
- Languages: Fluent in German and English.
