About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for our Lakehouse Analytics platform in Oulu, Finland. You will play a key role in developing and designing data-driven services and solutions. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work location type.

Responsibilities
- Develop and design data-driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics platform.
- Work in diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer experts.
- Utilize strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages.
- Work with big data technologies such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Apache Spark.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably within Azure.
- Demonstrate passion for continuous learning, innovation, and developing high-quality products.
- Communicate effectively in English and Finnish.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in software development.
- Hands-on experience developing data-driven solutions and working with big data technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably within Azure.
- Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and developing high-quality products.
- Confidence and willingness to take responsibility, combined with honesty, openness, and a collaborative team mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish.
Nice to Have
- Experience in social care and healthcare data.
- Knowledge of data warehouse, data lakes, or lakehouse.
- Skills in dimensional data modeling, star schemas, and data marts.
- Development experience with Power BI.
