About the Position
Senior Data Modeller - Hybrid role in Insurance - £90k
A global consulting enterprise is hiring a Senior Data Modeller to design, govern, and evolve the data models powering their next-generation cloud data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Model data for modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Develop and govern Canonical Data Models, Data vault models, and Dimensional models
- Work across underwriting, claims, finance, actuarial, and operational teams
- Engage with senior stakeholders (Heads of Data, Underwriting, Claims, IT) to validate models and business logic
- Align models with enterprise data governance and data standards
Requirements
- Experience as a Data Modeller in Insurance, specifically in the London Market
- Expertise in data-modelling techniques
- Proven experience designing models across Silver, Gold, and Semantic Layers
- Advanced SQL skills for data profiling, validation, and modelling support
- Strong domain knowledge of Syndicates, Delegated Authority, Reinsurance, Pricing, and Claims
We Offer
- Base Salary of £80-90k
- 15% Flex
- Up to 20% bonus
