Mit unserem dualen Studien- und Ausbildungsangebot bereiten wir Dich optimal darauf vor, bei uns als Expert:in Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Während Deiner Praxisstationen erhältst Du Einblicke in verschiedene Bereiche und kannst so herausfinden, wie es für Dich anschließend weitergehen soll. Senior Data Platform Architect (w/m/d)

Wiesbaden, Paderborn, Nürnberg, Köln oder Augsburg.

Du denkst Datenplatformen von Reporting bis zur Architektur und willst dabei nah an der Technik bleiben? Als Senior Data Platform Architect entwirfst Du Datenplatformen vom Data Warehouse oder Lakehouse bis zu KI-Use-Cases, berätst Kunden bei den großen Technologieentscheidungen und baust selbst mit. Du führst Projekte fachlich und vertrittst die Abteilungsleitung, ohne in eine reine Managementrolle zu wechseln.

What You Will Do

• Design and build data platforms end-to-end, from Data Warehouse or Lakehouse over BI-Reporting to KI-Use-Cases
• Advise clients on technology and architecture decisions, evaluate landscapes, and design target architectures
• Work hands-on: Data integration, data modeling, reporting
• Lead customer projects as a Technical Lead
• Train customer teams in workshops and daily projects
• Evaluate new tools and shape the technology development of the department
• Additionally: Pre-Sales, seminars as a speaker, sharing knowledge with colleagues, students, and customers

Your Perspective:

• Technical Lead and representation of the department management, while continuing to work hands-on

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience, computer science degree or comparable education
• Current hands-on experience with multiple BI-Tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Cognos) and desire to stay close to the technology
• Project experience in building data platforms, from Data Warehouse or Lakehouse to reporting, and understanding of KI-Use-Cases
• Experience as a Technical Lead in customer projects
• Knowledge in data integration and databases (e.g., Informatica, Azure Data Factory, dbt) and modern Lakehouse platforms
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly, confident customer interaction, German C1 and good English

Desirable:

• Experience as a speaker or trainer
• Scrum and agile project management
• Industry knowledge in banks, insurance companies, or government agencies
• KI-Use-Cases in practice
• Collaboration with Sales
