We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist, based in the EU, to lead the development of advanced segmentation and classification models and implement scalable machine learning solutions across a diverse network of business units.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and deploy machine learning models for risk-based segmentation, classification, and clustering
• Analyse and process complex transactional datasets to enhance the scalability and performance of models
• Perform advanced statistical modelling, scenario adjustments, and fine-tuning of parameters
• Work with Python, Apache Spark (including internals), and Git to design and productionize model pipelines
• Closely partner with data engineering and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and iterative improvements

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Data Science or a closely related area
• Over 7 years of direct experience building ML/AI models following completion of the master’s degree
• Strong understanding of classification methods and clustering techniques
• Solid background in working with structured behavioral or transactional datasets
• Strong command of Apache Spark (including knowledge of internals), Python programming, and Git version control
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English
• Prior exposure to financial services, banking, or environments involving high-volume transactions is a plus
