About the Position
Vira Games is an independent game development company specializing in the creation and publishing of mobile games. Our team is a creative alliance that brings together experience, creativity, drive, and professionalism.
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist - an expert who will help build a personalized gaming experience for millions of users through modern ML solutions, segmentation strategies, and innovative recommendation systems.
Main Goal of the Role:
Design and implement models that better understand player behavior, optimize personalization and monetization, and support scalable hypotheses that directly impact product LTV.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user segmentation models for targeted marketing and personalization.
- Build and implement a recommendation system optimized for cross-promotion.
- Analyze large-scale gaming datasets to identify behavioral patterns, preferences, and churn risks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in gamedev is a must.
- Proven experience in user segmentation and recommendation algorithms development.
- Strong SQL skills (experience with Amazon Redshift is a plus).
- Solid knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate insights into practical business solutions.
